Starting 14:30pm		 Auckland: The Famous Kaiaua Fish-n-Chip Run: Our usual meeting point, the Botanical Gardens at Manurewa, is becoming too crowded these days, so this year we will have a new meeting point. Meet at the Ardmore Café, 500 Harvard Lane, Ardmore Airport at 2.30pm for afternoon tea/coffee and then leave at 3.30pm for Kaiaua. The drive there takes you through Clevedon, down the coast of the Firth of Thames to Kaiaua for a picnic tea of fish and chips from their famous Fish & Chip Shop. This run provides the lot – Great roads for an enjoyable drive, great scenery, a great location for a picnic with a conveniently located pub and world class fish & chips. We look forward to seeing you there. Don’t forget to take your togs if you want to have a swim in the hot pools at Miranda on the way home!

18:30pm		 Auckland: St. Valentines Day Picnic: Come and join Jan & Marian Hendrix for a picnic to celebrate St. Valentines Day. Meet at Judges Bay on the left hand side of the road next to the Rose Gardens from 6.30pm. There is ample parking at the end of Judges Bay Road at the entrance to Parnell Pools. This is a lovely spot looking out over the harbour towards Rangitoto and North Head. Gentlemen organise the picnic hamper and a celebratory wine or bubbles and of course a red rose, ladies bring a blanket for the ground.

09:15am		 Waikato:   Rotorua Lakes Picnic Day For those of us that wish we could be at Nationals but couldn’t – a run organised by Ian & Elizabeth Rotorua Lakes Picnic Day Waikato and TR members from other groups are very welcome Meet @ the Te Awamutu Rose Gardens Gorst Avenue (by the I Centre) to leave by 9.15. BYO chairs, picnic & refreshments. A casual easy tour around some beautiful scenery and a chance to natter & catch up. Directions will be available @ the start. All day		 Waikato: Te Awamutu Classic Car Show plus Swapmeet: This annual event is organised by the Waikato Triumph Car Club, the gates open at 7:30am with displays set up at 9:30am. Entry is by a $3.00 donation with the money collected going to the Westpac Air Ambulance. The event is held at the Te Awamutu Racecourse, Racecourse Road, Te Awamutu. This is a chance to join the TR Register Waikato to show off your pride & joy. If you would like to join them to travel to the grounds as a group, meet at Gorst Avenue (By the i Centre Te Awamutu) to enter the grounds as a group by 8.30am. Otherwise we could travel down as a group to meet the Waikato people at the grounds. 10:00am & onwards		  Auckland: Spitfire v Spitfire: The Auckland Triumph Car Club have invited TR Register to join them to celebrate the 50th birthday of the Triumph Spitfire. For this they have made arrangements with the Warbirds for Triumph Spitfires, plus any other willing Triumphs, to meet up with the famous aircraft of the same name.
Meet at the Belagios Restaurant at Manukau for breakfast around 7.30am, the Auckland Botanic Gardens at 9:45am, or at Ardmore airfield from 10:00am.onwards. There will be an official photographer on hand who will put together a CD of all the photos. There is a charge of $25.00 per car, $10 of which will go to Warbirds. Club Nights (Auckland)
(1st Tuesday of Month)
 

An informal monthly gathering currently held in an Auckland Bar & Restaurant.  Location may vary ..check the calendar above for details  Staring at 7:30pm or from 6:30pm-7:00pm onwards if you want a meal..  Sometime replaced by Technical Nights - see below.  May not be held in January - check calendar above.
Club (or Interclub) events
(Auckland)		 The Auckland Group also aims to arrange an event on the 3rd Sunday of each month when possible .  Watch the calendar above for details.
Technical Nights A technical presentation or discussion on a wide range of interesting items.  These are usually held on 1st Tuesday of the month in lieu of the normal Club Night.  Watch the calendar above and TRansmission magazine for details.    Past evenings have covered gearboxes, auto-upholstery, overdrives, fuel injection, wheel alignment and several other topics.
Periodically: Picnic runs, Go-kart evenings, Grasskhanas and several other events for everyone to get together for loads of fun are held during the year.  Watch the calendar above and TRansmission magazine for details.

Sailing Day
(Early February)

This is an Auckland based event and an opportunity for members to get together in a non-car environment. From time to time a number of members have yachts and welcome the opportunity to share their sailing pleasures around the Auckland harbour

TR National Weekend
(Date varies)

This is the main event of the year that brings members throughout the country together to celebrate the TR marque.  Usually held January, February or March

Mid Winter Dinner
(Late June)

An opportunity to enjoy a traditional Christmas dinner at a time of year more suited to the fare than the New Zealand calendar Christmas.

Isadora Duncan Scavenge Rally
(Usually around September)

A gimmick trial organised as a tribute to the fun loving dancer Isadora Duncan who lost her life when her long scarf tangled in the wheel of her sports car.

Annual General Meeting
(End of October)

 

Breakfast Run
(Mid December)

A combined event with Thoroughbred and Classic Car Owners Club which takes members in convoy to a location an hours drive north of Auckland to enjoy a pre-Christmas social event with like-minded car enthusiasts.

These events are interspersed with Technical evenings, a bi-annual bent sprint, video nights, a monthly club night in Auckland, various regional and Inter-marque events - trials, go-karts, circuit races, hill climbs, motorkhanas and Concours d'elegance.
